The International Stem Cell Network (ISCA) started as a ‘cultivation programme’ supported by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The ISCA aims to develop translational research and stem cell therapies based on an international stem cell hub with training, accreditation and standards development.

Leading scientists and their affiliated institutions from China, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Israel, UK, Japan, Korea and USA have joined through a collaboration framework agreement. Individual experts in the field of stem cell and regenerative medicine have also been connected by non-disclosing agreement.
