Following the highly successful online PSConf meetings in 2021 and 2022, the International Stem Cell alliance, Beijing Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, and Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences are hosting the first in-person Pluripotent Stem Cell Conference (PSConf 2023) in October 20-23 with a series of events focused on manufacture of hPSC‐based medicines.
The objective of this meeting is to bring together leaders in the field to discuss the state of the art in human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC) manufacturing with emphasis on current experiences with stem cell-derived products and organoids. These presentations will be complemented by new technologies for stem cell research and talks on ethical and quality issues in hPSC-derived organoids. In the Bridging Session to engage Chinese and international scientific networks, the participating organizations will further discuss global efforts to facilitate stem cell standards development and priorities for the future.
As the first in-person meeting after the pandemic years, PSConf 2023 will be an unusual and exciting opportunity to interact with a diverse range of expertise in a cutting-edge area of science and therapy that initiate new collaborative activities. We hope to bring in more international experts from industry and drug regulatory authorities to discuss key issues in stem cell manufacturing development with research scientists.
